Giving Jesus An Offering
Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have in Jesus, we count it an honor to bring the best of our resources as an offering to Him. Giving is not an obligation to us. It is a privilege.
At Comeback City Church we pledge to be good stewards of your tithes & offerings to the Lord. The giving of personal resources by God’s people is what helps build and maintain His local church. Jesus entrusts the church leadership to steward these resources well. They are to use the offerings of the people to care for the needs within the church, teach people the Scriptures, and create holy environments for all people to encounter God’s presence.
Financial giving can be divided into two categories: tithes & offerings. The Bible teaches us that we can worship the Lord by bringing Him a tithe, which is the first and best portion of our income. The Biblical word tithe means the best ten percent that we have. When we feel called to give something other than a tithe, we do so as an offering.
God says that He loves a cheerful giver. This is why we create opportunities for you to give as He leads you, with a cheerful heart, and through no obligation.
