  • Comeback to Financial Peace

    Group Description:
 A Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University Small Group

    Hey friends. We're leading Comeback to Financial Peace at Comeback City Church, and we'd love to have you join us. If you've ever felt stressed about money, overwhelmed by debt, or just wish you had a better plan, this group is for you.

    We'll meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM ET for 10 weeks. Choose what works best for you — join us in person in the Comeback Kids Room or from home virtually. Come as you are. Snacks are encouraged.

    Each week, we'll watch a Financial Peace video lesson together (about 45 minutes), then dive into a group discussion where we can ask questions, share insights, and encourage each other.

    Let's be real: managing money is harder than it should be, and the economic pressures we're all facing are very real. Dave Ramsey's methods work for a lot of people, even if you don't agree with everything he says. We're here to take what's useful, adapt it to our lives, and support each other through the process.

    This is a safe, judgment-free zone — no shame, no lectures about what you should have done differently. We're all figuring this out together as we walk through the Baby Steps.

    Our goal is to reduce the money stress and start making progress with our finances — one step, one class, and one small victory at a time. Whether you're buried in debt, trying to save for the first time, or just want to feel more confident with money, you belong here.

    All materials are provided by the church — there's nothing to buy.

    We can't wait to meet you and walk this journey together.

    Group Description:
 In a busy, anxious world, peace is hard to come by. Our lives can seem endlessly overwhelming. Instead of trying to figure it all out, we can cultivate a relaxed, intimate, slower life with God. 

    Join us for Megan Fate Marshman's Bible study, "Relaxed: Letting Go of Self-Reliance and Trusting God." This study focuses on exchanging self-reliance for the trusting and relaxed posture seen in Jesus.

    Group Description: Join us for Wallyball—a high-energy twist on volleyball played in a racquetball court. It’s exciting, teamwork-focused, and super accessible—no prior experience required, and it’s perfect for building laughs, encouragement, and deeper friendships in our church community.
    The best part? Sweating it out together, cheering each other on, and chatting afterward—fellowship in motion!

    Group Description: You’re Invited! Join us on Friday nights for a time of good food meaningful connection, and lots of laughter. We gather around the table for a community potluck dinner, where everyone- no matter what your age or how long you’ve been at the church - is welcome.
Whether you’re new and looking to get connected or have been part of our church family for a while, this is a great space to build friendships and grow in faith together. After dinner we'll keep the fun going with a family friendly game of Bible trivia - something for everyone to enjoy.
