  • Grateful Hearts

    Leader: Jennifer O.
    Group Description: We will begin each gather with gratitude- pausing to recognize God's goodness, faithfulness, and the ways He is moving in our lives through gratitude journaling. Followed by using the gifts, creativity, and wisdom God has given us to develop a parent resource tool for the next generation that will help families disciple their children in faith.

  • Rooted Couples 2

    Group Description: This small group devotes itself to God's design for marriage; newly formed and or seasoned married couples are welcome. God's unique plan to bulletproof your marriage will be outlined and discussed with weekly challenges that will prepare you to handle any and all situations that arise. Our focus will be on bulletproofing your marriage through food, fun and fellowship. Get to know others, receive sound advice and enjoy the fellowship of believers.

  • Painting with Jesus

    Group Description:Painting with Jesus is a creative small group where we will take time to slow down, pray, and express the creativity God has placed within each of us. Together, we’ll enjoy painting, fellowship, and intentional time with the Lord as we create from a place of peace, worship, and connection.

  • Foster Closet Friends

    Leaders: Emily P. & Sandy L.
    Group Description: We partner with the Downriver Foster Closet, a nonprofit that provides clothing, shoes, toys, and household essentials to foster families.

    As a team, we:

    • Help families shop for clothes, shoes, and other household essentials
    • Build and assemble storage items
    • Organize and restock the closet

    • Prepare for upcoming events and special distributions



    Our goal is simple: use our hands and hearts to make sure foster families have the everyday supplies they need, while sharing practical love and support in a welcoming way.

  • The Work of the Flesh vs. The Fruit of the Spirit

    Group Description: Everybody has it, and if you let it lead your life, it will get you into trouble every time. It’s called the flesh, and the only way to escape its death-grip is to walk in the Spirit.



    Join me as we learn how to stop the death-permeated works of the flesh in your life and release the supernatural, life-giving fruit of the Spirit in this study by Rick Renner.

  • Be Still and Know

    Leaders: Steve & Lorinna H.
    Group Description: Busyness. A word that can describe both the content and context of our lives. A word that can even describe our state of mind. As we rush around and do all that needs to be done, we hope to find some relief when we can finally sit down. Yet, the busyness of our minds refuses to relent. Frenetic thought patterns can even seem to intensify. This busyness can crowd out what is truly most important, leaving us feeling exhausted and alone. 



    The Word of God leads us and teaches us to “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). This is actually the opposite of busyness! But what does this mean? How is it done? Why would I do “less” instead of “more”?

    

In our Be Still and Know small group, we will take time every other Friday night to explore and practice this topic. We will spend time learning about how to still our minds. We will spend time learning how Scripture and music can help guide and focus our minds. We will spend time with one another learning how to “be still and know.”



    Our small group will start meeting on Friday, September 18. We will meet from 6:30-7:30 pm. Our group will meet every other Friday for this semester.
